25:09:1235.4 On this day The first credit card was issued to the peoples of Gurdendorf. Unfortunately, the citizen’s understanding of credit and the ensuing responsibilities that come with it were an alien concept. The scheme had to be disbanded after the debtors jail was filled to bursting point after only one month.  There was a short lived experiment with balance transfers resulting in the imprisonment of the heads of the printers, bankers and gamblers guilds. The word ‘credit’ has now been added to the list of outlawed words, punishable by death. In for a penny, in for a pound.
