16.08.1211.4 The future King, Raoul the Intoxicated was born to King Mumfred II and Consort Agatha of Neeps. The royal herald proclaimed the birth at 2am but owing to the early hour and an evening spent in one of the castle’s seedier gambling dens, he became a little bit confused and announced that a baby Girl had been born to the King. This is thought to have lead to the numerous pink christening gifts and hence an addition of a pair of pink donkeys to the royal coat of arms.
